This is me all day!

This video is surfing around social media and it is disturbing to see all the comments and the different things that grown folks are saying about his mother and this child in this situation. I worked with families like this every day and complex challenges is not easy to deal with. Parenthood caregivers have a challenging choice to make to love a loved one who every day they may have to fear their child, or protect the other children in the home.

Our community needs to be more educated about these stigmas, and these challenges that families are facing every day that you don’t see.

It’s hard for families to get help is hard for families to get support from their own family because they are the ones who was judging them the hardest.

Even though this child has autism and some other complex challenges doesn’t mean that he isn’t human or need to be loved in a special type of way.

My heart go out to his mother and a family because I have to visit Homes that look like this and their children don’t even have autism. They just have behavioral issues, but there’s so many people out there who said you need to beat them you need to treat them this way you need to do this. That’s not easy for a mother or father. There need to be more empathy for families out there instead of judging families who need help.
