SOMATIC EMOTIONAL PROCESSING COURSE - LEVEL 1

FOR PSYCHOTHERAPISTS AND BODYWORKERS

Do you feel like you're holding unprocessed emotions in your body?
Do you over intellectualize your feelings?
Do you dissociate or feel numb & stuck?

Let's simplify the emotions to understand better what they need.

Our emotions are indicators that we need something. They are meant to be our trusted friends. Once we learn to respect and validate each emotion, we can advocate to meet our needs, and find our way back to peace and contentment.

In this 6 week course you will:
* Explore and reframe your relationships with each of the 7 major emotions
* Explore the physical holding pattern of these emotions in your body
* Practice movements that help each emotion feel expressed
* Learn nurturing dialogue and somatic touch to meet your body's
emotional needs
* Integrate Parts Work (IFS) to facilitate compassionate curiosity
* Share your experiences and receive support from our group
* Practice a daily 10 min somatic self check-in
* Each participant will also receive a virtual 1 hour private somatic coaching session with Maha during the duration of the course

This Workshop is an integration of:
* Somatic Experiencing
* Internal Family Systems
* Polyvagal Theory
* EMDR Bilateral Stimulation
* Havening Technique
* Nervous system regulation
* Emotional Liberation: Senses of the Soul
* Breathwork
* Trauma-informed yoga and body work
* Guided meditation and visualization

This course is part of a larger certification program for therapists and bodyworkers.

All are welcome to participate in the Level 1 courses for self discovery. Level 2 is designed as case study and practicum for practitioners.
