The 3rd Annual PAS Olympics (2025) brought the heat! 🔥 This year’s fierce competitors — The Cheetah Girls, Clickers & Kickers, and The Jumperoonis — battled it out in epic fashion. From lightning-fast relays (so fast, no pics!) to hilarious rounds of ABA Taboo, synchronized art-making, and dramatic nursery rhyme performances… it was a day to remember. 🏅💥

🌱 Welcome, Aurelia, to the Seedlings classroom! 🌱

We’re thrilled to introduce Aurelia, our newest Registered Behavior Technician at Peachtree! Aurelia brings a wealth of knowledge with a B.S. in Human Development and Psychology from Florida State University and is currently completing her master’s at the University of West Florida, working toward becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

With three years of RBT experience, Aurelia is passionate about turning everyday moments into playful learning opportunities. She finds joy in sparking curiosity, building meaningful connections, and helping children shine through the magic of ABA.

A fun-filled day at the playground with our amazing team at Peachtree Autism Services! 🛝✨ From jumping and running to climbing and sliding, our learners had a blast—and our therapists turned every moment into a learning opportunity. 💙

We worked on labeling actions and following directions through play, and you can do the same at home! Try these simple tips:

👀 Show and Tell: When your child is playing, name what they’re doing—“You’re sliding!” or “You’re jumping!”

🗣️ Comment on Actions: Narrate your own actions to model language—“I’m pushing the swing,” or “We’re climbing the stairs.”

🎨 Use Descriptive Language: Add detail—“You’re running so fast!” or “That slide is really tall!”

Small moments like these help build big language skills! 💬✨

🎉 Welcome Morgan Mabery to the Peachtree Team! 🎉

We’re so excited to have Morgan Mabery joining us at Peachtree Autism Services! 💙

Morgan earned her B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in ABA from James Madison University (Go Dukes! 🐶💜). During grad school, she worked with children with Autism in both public school and clinic settings — gaining tons of hands-on experience along the way.

Now, as a BCBA, Morgan is pumped to meet all the amazing learners and families here at Peachtree. We’re just as excited to have her on board!

The Power of Face-to-Face Interaction 👀💬

At the clinic, our therapists position themselves face-to-face with learners to build connection, support communication, and follow the child’s lead—something you can try at home too! 🏠

Try getting down to your child’s eye level so they can really see you—and you can see them. This helps them stay focused on you and makes it easier for you to notice what they’re looking at or interested in. It’s like putting yourself in the “spotlight” so your child can take in all those important social cues ✨.

🎯 Token Economy During Discrete Trial Training (DTT)

Our learners are making great progress during DTT sessions! ✅ Through structured teaching and positive reinforcement 🌟, they’re building important skills step by step 🧩.

After completing a specific task or showing a positive behavior 🙌, they earn a token—like a sticker or small object 🏅. Once they collect enough, they can exchange their tokens for something they love 💖, such as a favorite toy 🧸, activity 🎨, or treat 🍪.

It’s a fun and motivating way to support learning 📚 and encourage positive behavior! 🎉👏
