TPB's residents put up a fight this against our lead trainer, Kevin! The fitness center was packed with friends, family, and staff to watch the action in our Second Annual Boxing Showcase. 🥊👏

Each neighbor threw combos for 1.5-minute rounds set to theme music, and no surprise... every round ended with huge applause!

Our in-house fitness guru, Kevin Daniel, is helping TPB residents kick off 2026 the right way! He is leading a new interactive nutrition class series called "Mindful Eating."

Residents often have questions about diet and nutrition, so this series is the perfect way to bring those discussions into one place. Thanks, Kevin! 🍎💪

Seniors at The Piedmont Buckhead recently tried a tradition rooted in the Andes, exploring Peruvian bird gourds inspired by an art form practiced in Peru for more than 3,000 years!

Historically used to tell stories and pass cultural knowledge between generations, these gourds changed history into something hands-on and personal. As each piece took shape, so did its story.

For us, the detailed process supports fine motor skills. Some honored traditional bird imagery, others wove personal narratives into their designs, and a few let imagination lead entirely! 🐦🎨

A visit from Emory University brought the latest science right to our living room!

Research students stopped by to present new findings on fall prevention and share details on their current projects. It was an engaging session that turned into real action. Seven residents even decided to get involved and signed up to participate in future studies! 🎓🤝

It's been a very happy holiday season at The Piedmont at Buckhead! 🎄

This December has been filled with joyful moments. We loved having the Rabbi join us for our Menorah lighting and getting creative, making hot cocoa bombs. Our trip to World Market for holiday shopping was a fun treat, too!

But the most meaningful moments were about connection. Hosting a luncheon for Atlanta’s Zone 2 police officers was an honor, and participating in the SRG Senior Living holiday door contest brought out our festive side. Our "Home for the Holidays" open house was the perfect way to celebrate together. We hope your day is filled with those you love! 🎅❤️

Lamb kofta, dolma, and Turkish tea... the menu for this month’s "Let's Dish" was packed with flavor!

Chef Whitney leaned into the theme of Turkey to prepare a Mediterranean spread that included chicken kofta, poached eggs, and seasoned rice pilaf. The scent of the spices reached us well before the plates did. Thanks, Chef! 🥙🍵

Steve from our Zest team pulled the gathering together for our Assisted Living floors, creating a space to listen to music and get creative with frosting! 🍪🎶

Our usual rabbi was unable to be present for this year’s Menorah lighting, so our residents stepped up to lend a hand! 🕎

We have had several different residents (and even family members!) volunteer to light the candles and lead the prayers. It makes this time of year even more special to see everyone coming together to keep our traditions bright.

Our residents at The Piedmont at Buckhead supported a luncheon for the Atlanta Police Department’s Zone 2 officers! 🍕👮‍♂️

We happily delivered pizzas and a basket of cookies prepared by our kitchen. The APD has been extremely helpful and they are always great listeners for our residents. This was a small way for us to say thank you for everything they do!
