Valon is the founder of Vitality Wellness Solutions PLLC. As a Black woman and clinician, she combines her experience and expertise to promote pleasure. Valon graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with Bachelor of Science degrees in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Children and Adolescents and African American Studies with a minor in Sociology. She is also a proud alumna of Howard University where she earned her Master of Social Work degree, which has afforded her the opportunity to work in areas of specialization, including child welfare, active duty and veteran military, mental health, professional sports, maternal health, and sexuality education. Valon obtained a certificate in S*xuality Education and S*x Therapy from the University of Michigan in 2019.

The holidays can feel heavy when you’re carrying loss. Still Here is a gentle 90-minute virtual space to breathe, reflect, and feel held during a season that can be both tender and overwhelming.

Facilitated by Keisha Reaves, LPC, PMH-C and Janese Jones, LCSW, this workshop offers:

✨ Space for comfort, connection, and being seen

Rachell M. Dumas, RN, BSN, MSN(c) is a nurse, maternal health advocate, and founder of A Light After Nine, a nonprofit supporting women and families through infertility and pregnancy loss. After enduring eight miscarriages and a stillbirth, she turned her pain into purpose—creating a community centered on healing, hope, and support.

Originally from New Orleans and now based in Atlanta, Rachell is dedicated to advancing equitable healthcare for women of color and underserved communities. She is also a keynote speaker and is currently writing a book about her powerful journey of resilience and hope.

1 in 5 birthing parents will experience a perinatal mood and anxiety disorder after giving birth. Being previously diagnosed with infertility or having had difficulties with trying to conceive naturally can increase these chances. With infertility being a topic that is not often discussed publicly, clients experience a lot of shame, guilt and isolation. Their self-esteem, romantic relationships, and mental health are significantly impacted by this medical diagnosis. (Live training approved through Postpartum Support International for Advanced Course Training towards PMH-C exam and PMH-C renewal)
