It's much easier to teach a nonverbal baby to talk, than it is a nonverbal 4 year old child. Start early to reduce the effects of a suspected disability or behavioral disorder.

The effects of your child's disability CAN be reduced with early intervention.
It's remarkable what little kids can learn in a short amount of time. BUT, by age 4, most of the major neural circuitry is mature and the ability to learn language starts to slow down. For this reason, I use my skills to target babies.

Over the course of the past year, I have fully embraced the ESI model and know it is the most effective approach to intervention for young children. So often I hear stories of how many weeks or months parents have to wait before services begin. Typically those services are in a clinic, child has a difficult time transferring those skills to the home and it takes a few sessions for a clinician to establish a routine and rapport with the clinician.
ESI helps your child demonstrate remarkable progress, typically within the first week of your ESI session. Why is this model so successful?? Because I teach YOU how to do it in situations that occur frequently and in routines your child already understands and that are important to your family.
