Community Garden Update 🌱😃

Phase 1 of our community garden is officially complete!!!

The boxes are built, and we are so grateful to be able to bring this space to our community. What started as an idea is now something you can see and touch, and that means a lot to us.

Before we can start planting, we do have a few remaining needs. Our greatest needs right now are top soil, a water hose, and a nozzle so we can keep everything growing and cared for.

If you’re interested in helping, we have a planting schedule available in the office and would love for you to be part of this from the ground up.

Additional needs include:
- Gardening tools
- Gloves
- An outdoor bench where people can rest

This garden is about more than plants. it’s about free access to healthy food, sharing resources, and creating something meaningful together. Thank you for being part of this and for supporting what we’re building. 💚🌿

2026 Office Updates!!

Lately, I’ve been sitting with A LOT of gratitude.
For this team. For their hearts. For the way each person shows up, especially on the hard days.

I truly couldn’t do this without them.

Each person holds a special place with me, not just for what they do, but for who they are. For as much as they take care of the people in our community, they also take care of each other. Myself included. Having people you can lean on when things get tough is a type of privilege, I'm grateful to have.

This Christmas, my gift to them couldn't come close to what they do for me or our community, but I hope they know how appreciated they are.

A sound bath, so they get to slow down, calm their nervous system, and receive instead of pour.

This is just my small way to say thank you to people who give so much of themselves all year long.

I’m incredibly thankful for this team, and for the work we get to do together. It’s a gift I don’t overlook.

🚨 Office Update 🚨

This team works hard. Like really hard.
They show up all year, go above and beyond for our community, and pour their heart and soul into what they do.

And yes, sometimes that looks like focus, effort and skill.
Other times, it looks like joy, laughter, and letting ourselves be human.
Both are essential.

Because of how much this team gives, it’s my absolute pleasure to give back.

✨ GoodMedicine Wellness will be closed from December 22nd toJanuary 5th ✨

Our office phone will remain open, and Cierra will be available to help schedule appointments and answer most questions.

I’m so grateful for this group of humans and so excited for what’s ahead in the new year.

Good things happening for the community.

New free community garden at Good Medicine in Atmore aims to ease grocery costs, offering seasonal fresh produce to all residents.

This Saturday, December 20th we begin something that’s been sitting on my heart for a long time, our community garden. 🌱

This project was born out of deep gratitude for the opportunity I’ve been given to serve others and give back in a real, tangible way. Access to healthy food shouldn’t be a financial strain.

If you feel called to help, we would love to have you. 💜

We’ll be gathering supplies, building, and getting our hands in the dirt. If you have a trailer to help haul wood, rocks, or mulch, that would be a huge gift. If you enjoy building, scooping rocks, spreading mulch, or just lending your energy, there’s a place for you.

If donating supplies feels like the right way to support, that means just as much.
We will need:
- Seeds (think spring garden we're laying the foundation now. )
- Water hose
- Gardening tools
- Gloves
- Knowledge of what grows best together.
- I'm sure so much more thats escaping my mind right now.

There’s something you notice about Holly the moment you meet her.
It's how she shows up with her whole heart, even on the days her own plate is overflowing. She has this beautiful belief in leaving places and people better than she found them… and she lives that out every single day in our office.

That’s why she’s our Team Member of the Month.

Holly puts care, presence, and comfort into every massage she gives.
She pays attention. She remembers the little things. She notices what someone needs before they have to ask. She has a gift at making people feel taken care of.
