Congratulations to Kari for being selected as our employee of the quarter! She was recognized due to the outstanding passion she has for our patients, team, and place of work. Her superior work ethic is hard to miss! She has done an amazing job of working two jobs at our front desk throughout the changes we have gone through and handled it like a champ! We definitely could not function as a clinic without her steady presence.

So when you see Kari this week make sure to congratulate her on the amazing work she has done and continues to do everyday!

Thank you for always providing excellent care and monitoring our patients for any potential life threatening issues.

Please join us in congratulating Shane Johnson, Physical Therapy Assistant, for receiving the Lifesaver Award! 👏

Recently, Shane was working with a patient recovering from knee surgery who reported abnormal pain and had significant tenderness. Drawing on his knowledge and genuine concern for his patient, Shane asked thoughtful questions about her medical history—and learned she had a history of blood clots.

Recognizing the warning signs, Shane personally wheeled her to the ER! The patient was diagnosed with a blood clot and was able to begin medication promptly to address the issue.

Because of Shane’s attentiveness, quick thinking, and dedication, this patient received life-saving care. 💙

Thank you, Shane, for going above and beyond for your patients every day. You truly embody what the Lifesaver Award is all about.

How long does therapy usually take?

This is one of our most asked questions!

🥁🥁🥁 (Drum Roll) The answer is: it depends!

Many factors go into your recovery time:
🔵 Type of Injury or Condition
🔵 Length of time since the issue started
🔵 What goals you have for yourself
🔵 Consistency with therapy and home exercises

👉 Now some patients can see improvement in just a few visits, while more complicated issues may take months for full recovery. Your ACH Therapy team personalizes your plan and will update you throughout your care with your progress.

💪 Reminder: Therapy is not a “one size fits all” — it is about helping you get back to the activities you love!

The results are in!!!

The majority voted motivation as the biggest barrier to regular exercise. So we have put together some helpful information about exercise to help you get motivated.

If you were told there was a medicine that would make you sleep better, be happier, live longer, improve your health, and give you energy…….and it is FREE! You all would think it is coming from a snake oil salesman or it’s a dream, but that’s exactly what regular exercise can do for you.

It is also can be opportunity to socialize with others and build a connection (exercising with a friend increases your chances of exercising often). Exercising does not have to involve long hours, expensive gym memberships, or a higher education of exercises. Start simple with walking, playing outside with your children, or make small lifestyle changes (taking the stairs, parking further away from buildings to walk further, etc.).
