A powerful word from our treasured Ultrasound Technician!

Having an ultrasound ministry here at Escambia Women’s Center (Sav-A-Life) is so important for our community. I have had the privilege to be here since June of 2023. In my time at Sav-A-Life I have witnessed the huge impact that these ultrasounds have made in the lives of so many mothers and fathers.
I’ve witnessed firsthand how a mother seeing her baby has changed her decision for abortion, to keeping her baby, and becoming a mother.
One of my clients even said that getting to see her baby provided all the motivation she needed to continue her sobriety.
Having a safe place for these men and women to see and bond with their unborn children is a truly priceless resource. ❤️ - Rachel Reach

Embrace Grace, (a 12-week program sponsored by Walnut Hill Baptist Church) is a safe place for single mommas to share what they are going through, and to learn about Jesus Christ and how He can change their lives.

The Gospel is at the heart of this program, right where it should be.

The goal is for each of these women to have a relationship with Jesus and be plugged into a local church 💕
Many times, the church is one of the last places these girls turn to.
Feeling ashamed, feeling judged or even being shunned..
We, as the Church need to show the love and forgiveness of Christ.

This pregnancy may be a surprise to them, but it is not to our Heavenly Father.

He has a plan for them and their unborn child.

Oh, how we are so honored to be apart of this Gospel mission. To be the hands and feet of our Savior. To actively show the love He lavishes on all of us. 💕💕💕

💕 A New Season of Hope Begins August 6th 💕

We are so grateful to Walnut Hill Baptist Church for sponsoring a 12-week “Embrace Grace” study group—specifically created for women walking through pregnancy in challenging circumstances. Whether she’s single, in the midst of a divorce, or missing her partner due to deployment or incarceration, this group is a safe place to heal, grow, and find hope.

Starting August 6th, these women will:
🌸 Build meaningful friendships in a loving, judgment-free community
🎁 Receive practical support—including a beautiful, free baby shower
🌟 Discover their worth, develop life-changing skills, and explore their God-given purpose

We are honored to walk alongside these brave women by providing Love Boxes to our clients who are participating—filled with thoughtful workbooks and the cutest baby onesie to remind them: You are not alone.

Shoutout to New Life Assembly Church in Walnut Hill for adding a fun twist to our Baby Bottles for Life fundraiser!
The men and women went head-to-head in a friendly challenge to see who could raise the most money—and the women came out on top! 🙌
The prize? Two lucky wives got to celebrate their win by pie-ing their husbands in the face with whipped cream! 😂

We will again be aimed at empowering young people to take charge of their futures, build self-worth, and to boldly choose abstinence until marriage!
We believe education is key in helping students make informed, healthy decisions.

A big THANK YOU to the amazing brothers and sisters from Bratt Assembly Church! 💐

These incredible women returned the fundraising baby bottles and also presented us with a check offering to support our mission here at the Women’s Resource Center.

Not only did they give from the heart, but they also took the time to tour our center and see firsthand how their contributions are making a difference in the lives of women and families in our community.
