10 Things to do for yourself now, the younger you needed:
1. Spend Time with yourself, getting to know yourself, be curious about your interests, passions and your heart's desire.
2. Acknowledge how you are feeling. Don't ignore it, minimize your feelings or judge them. You are allowed to have your feelings. They are valid. No matter what anyone else thinks.
3. Let yourself change your mind. It is ok to change your mind. Often, we don't allow ourselves to change our minds because we feel guilty or stuck in a choice we made. We get to change our mind.
4. Remind yourself that it is ok to have negative feelings. They are normal and part of the human condition.
5. Other people's feelings are not your responsibility. You cannot make people happy. You can't cure, cause or create other people's feelings.
6. Celebrate yourself. The big and the small successes. It is up to you to celebrate you.
7. Mistakes are just opportunities to grow. Repeat after me: It is ok to make mistakes, it doesn't mean I am a mistake. This is how I learn and grow.
8. Have grace for yourself, we haven't been doing life for very long. Our brain isn't even fully developed until we are 26. So, I mean really, give yourself a break.
9. We are allowed to have conflicting feelings. Sometimes our feelings conflict with one another. Let them.
10. Talk to yourself like a friend. What would your best friend say to you about this?
