🫁 PULMONARY REHABILITATION WEEK 🫁 a time to highlight the importance of lung health and the services that help patients breathe easier and live better.

At Atoka County Medical Center, we offer Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) right here in our facility. PFT testing is a simple, non-invasive way to measure how well your lungs are working. These tests help providers evaluate breathing problems and diagnose conditions such as asthma, COPD, and other lung diseases.

Pulmonary Function Testing can help:
• Detect lung disease early
• Measure the severity of breathing problems
• Monitor how well treatment is working
• Guide personalized care plans, including pulmonary rehabilitation

If you or a loved one are experiencing shortness of breath, chronic cough, or decreased exercise tolerance, talk to your healthcare provider about whether Pulmonary Function Testing may be right for you.

📍Pulmonary Function Testing is available IN-HOUSE at Atoka County Medical Center, making it easier for our community to access the respiratory care they need—close to home.

At Family First Clinic, we’re committed to helping you and your loved ones stay healthy through education, prevention, and EARLY screening.

✨WHY COLON CANCER AWARENESS MATTERS✨
Colon cancer (also called colorectal cancer) often develops without noticeable symptoms in its early stages. That’s why routine screening is so important.
✔️EARLY DETECTIONS SAVES LIVES
✔️ROUTINE SCREENING CAN PREVENT CANCER BEFORE IT STARTS
✔️MOST CASES ARE HIGHLY TREATABLE WHEN FOUND EARLY

⚠️ POSSIBLE WARNING SIGNS:
Changes in bowel habits, blood in stool, persistent abdominal discomfort, unexplained weight loss, fatigue.

🎯 The American Cancer Society recommends:
Adults age 45 and older begin regular screenings. Earlier screening is recommended IF you have a family history of colon cancer, a personal history of polyps, or inflammatory bowel disease.
