🍽Recipe Idea Tuesday!🍽

I firmly believe that ALL foods can fit into a healthy diet. One of my favorite ways to include less nutritious foods is to ADD nutritious things to them to make them more balanced and filling.

Mac & Cheese on its own lacks a good source of protein and fiber to help keep you full and satiated. By adding in protein, like sausage or ground beef/turkey, and adding in fiber-filled vegetables, like broccoli or chickpeas, you are able to satisfy your cravings by eating your favorite foods AND meet your nutrient needs!
