At Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, caring for families means caring for the well-being of our entire community. This month, we’re helping raise awareness about heart health and the importance of prevention.

Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the United States, and nearly half of adults have at least one major risk factor, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, or smoking. Many of these conditions can develop quietly — which makes regular check-ups so important.

The good news is that healthy choices today can make a meaningful difference tomorrow.

Simple ways to support heart health:
• Know your blood pressure and cholesterol numbers
• Make time for physical activity each day
• Choose balanced, heart-healthy meals
• Manage stress and prioritize rest

By spreading awareness and encouraging proactive care, we can help protect the people we love most. Join us in supporting heart health and reminding one another that every heartbeat matters. ❤️
