Dr. Avak Graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago on May 1998. In 2013 and 2015, he was recognized by Consumer’s Research Council of America as America’s Top Optometrists. He is also a Member of Beta Sigma Kappa, International Optometric Honor Society. He was recognized in Low Vision and rehabilitation services for exemplary skills. He has a passion for patient care, meeting the visual needs by Glasses, Contacts, Bifocal or color contact lenses to improving computer vision disorder. He is Licensed in California to Diagnose, Treat and Manage Ocular Disease also certified to treat Open Angle Glaucoma in people over age 18. With over 18 years of experience, he is ready to take care of all your family visual needs. Dr. Avak started as an independent OD with US Vision in 1998. In 2004, he started working with Pearle Vision as Managing Optometrist until 2010. In 2010, Dr. Avak after meeting his wife, moved to Modesto California and started working with Eyexam of CA until 2014. He currently practices as Independent Optometrist next to Target Optical in Atwater.
