We’ve been busy over here! Welcomed our new girl into the family on the 24th. We have loved watching the bigger kids love on her as much as they have.

I am taking a break for the summer but hoping to slowly take clients again starting this fall! Feel free to reach out still if you need birth or postpartum support starting in September or later ☺️

This was my first birth that I had a doula at and let me tell you I would never do it differently again. Such a different experience then my others ❤️ I’d love to be that support for you and your family!

Been a little MIA lately because we’ve been getting ready for our new little one ❤️ this is a quilt I’ve been working on for baby that is almost finished!

This picture was taken when Piper was just two weeks old. We spent a lot of time watching movies those few weeks and I remember feeling so guilty I wasn’t planning activities for the older two or playing games with them, I’ve learned a lot since then and honestly a postpartum mom shouldn’t be doing anything else the first few weeks except focusing on recovery. I would’ve loved to have a doula and that’s one of the many reasons I felt the need to become one myself. Hey everyone, I’m back! I took an unexpected break as my husband got injured and we are expecting our 4th baby, Due in April! The last couple of months have been hard and spent a lot of time with family. I am back and ready to support you though however I can! I am currently looking for 2 births and 3 postpartum mamas to support before April! If you or someone you know is interested please reach out! My new goal is to have all births and postpartum I need for certification complete before baby comes! Then I’ll focus more on my reading and other aspects while spending time other my family and bonding with our new little one. I look forward to hearing from you 😊

Babies can scream for what they want or until a need is met, however a newborn is not capable of producing tears until about 3 weeks of age.

Birth doula and postpartum doulas are so so important. If you don’t need birth or postpartum support I’m sure you know someone who does. It would be a great gift for a new or expecting mother. A great baby shower gift or just because! Whatever area you live in I’m sure there are great doulas to be found. This is a pic of my two boys at only 14 months and 5 days old back in 2017 since then we have added a sweet girl to the family 💕

There are many benefits of having a doula present at your birth, including the reasons listed. Studies have shown that even just having a doul present even without participating has shown better out comes for the birth. Let me know if you are interested or have more questions!

Most women don’t find their water breaking until the second stage of labor, right before pushing begins and you’re nearly fully dilated. If your water does break before you’re in labor, your provider will likely want to induce labor within 24 hrs if it hasn’t begun on its own because you will be more Susceptible to infection.
