👉 Parents tell me:
“My child has endless energy… but crashes emotionally.”

Not all hyperactivity is a behavior problem… sometimes it’s a sleep problem.

Kids who struggle to breathe well at night often don’t look tired — they look:
• hyper
• impulsive
• emotional
• unable to focus

When sleep is disrupted by airway or breathing issues, the brain never fully recharges. Instead of acting sleepy, many kids act wired.

If your child snores, mouth breathes, tosses and turns, or wakes unrefreshed — their sleep (and breathing) may deserve a closer look.🤍

✨Our cat friends have an important meow-ssage 🐱😴

If you’re snoring, exhausted, or waking up feeling cat-astrophic… it might be sleep apnea.

Don’t paws your health — get your airway checked.
Stay paws-itive: better sleep is possible.

❔❔Tired of CPAP? Maybe you can’t tolerate it?
Oral appliances offer a comfortable, custom solution that repositions your jaw and tongue, supporting your airway and giving you the quality sleep you deserve.

Small device, huge difference! 💤 Oral appliances help keep your airway clear while you sleep, so you (and your partner) can finally wake up refreshed.🙌🏻

This is what I can create as an airway dentist! As a healthcare professional, I care about you and your health. I want whatever option you can be compliant with, and sometimes it is a CPAP alternative like an oral appliance!

✨Big ✨news in sleep medicine 👏

The American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) recognizes oral appliance therapy provided by trained dentists as an effective treatment option for obstructive sleep apnea — especially for patients who cannot tolerate or choose not to use CPAP.

This is a huge step forward for collaborative care.🫶🏼
Sleep apnea treatment is no longer one-size-fits-all, and patients deserve options that fit their lifestyle and improve their health.

Dentists trained in dental sleep medicine are proud to work alongside physicians to help more people breathe, sleep, and live better.

If CPAP hasn’t worked for you, you still have options. 🤍

Where is your tongue right now? 👅

If it’s not resting on the roof of your mouth, you’re not alone — but that’s where it’s designed to be.

Tongue up.
Lips closed.
Breathe through your nose.

Small habit. Big impact.💪🏼
This is just one of the things we work on here at SAMC!

Did you know most facial growth happens EARLY in childhood? 🦴🤗

A child’s face doesn’t just grow bigger — it grows:

➡️ Wider
➡️ Forward
➡️ Downward

By about age 4–5, nearly 75–80% of craniofacial growth is ALREADY DONE! A-lot of that jaw growth has to do with the foods they CHEW.

That also means breathing habits, tongue posture, chewing, and airway function during early childhood help shape how the face, and airway, develop.

Early awareness = bigger opportunity for healthy development 🙌🏻

Comment “FOOD” to learn more about ways to grow those jaws at as young as 6 months💪🏼

Humming isn’t just cute… it’s powerful.💪🏼

When you hum, you increase nitric oxide production in your sinuses — a gas your body naturally makes that helps:
• Open nasal airways
• Improve oxygen uptake
• Support immune defense
• Reduce inflammation

More humming = better nasal breathing.
Better nasal breathing = better sleep, focus, and growth.

Simple. Free. Powerful.🤗

Sleep apnea doesn’t discriminate.☝🏼
Not by age.
Not by gender.
Not by body type.

Sometimes Airway health is less about body type, and more about breathing. 😮‍💨
Tag someone who might be surprised to learn that sleep apnea can happen to anyone — let’s spread awareness!😴

Form follows function💪🏼👄

Chewing challenging foods and proper oral function help guide jaw development during growth, in the end supporting space for teeth, the tongue, and the airway.

What do we do? We help guide this growth in children with gentle appliance therapy. Contact us for more info!
