Foster A Pet Month (Lots of pets in need)

Having a clean space to go home to or even go to work to is very important especially if there are health conditions one has to worry about. Remember, do not mix chemicals together if you don't know the reaction of the combination as it is dangerous. Migraines and Headaches are awful to suffer through; some people end up nonresponsive to medications and have no idea how to get the help they need. When all else fails, hug a pet or your child.

And do not forget to thank a Certified Nursing Assistant during June 12th to June 18th. We may be at the bottom of the team, but we sure do show we care by providing constant 24/7 care for patients/residents in need. We help the medical field by being the eyes and ears of the nurses. We do the grunt work of the Nurses and that is okay.

Happy National Cancer Survivors Month! Anyone that has been diagnosed with cancer knows the challenges that come with that type of a diagnosis. Struggles with nutrition, treatment, mental health, physical health, relationships, and more. Once someone is diagnosed with cancer, they are a survivor for life. I have personal experience with a cancer diagnosis, and it has been a battle. Some cancers do not respond to systemic chemotherapy or radiation. Some cancers spread very quickly and are very aggressive, not responding to any treatment. Some individuals may only make it weeks passed an initial diagnosis. Drop me a line, even if it is needing to reach out and talk to someone with cancer. The saying is "It takes one survivor to know one is totally true." So, if you need to talk and vent, please reach out to me. I will gladly lend time and my ears.
