I was diagnosed with a tumor the size of a baby's head on my right lung, I had many test from march through April and was told It would be a while for recovery... I let my job of 8 years know I was going to need FMLA time for surgery, tests and recovery. I was also diagnosed with diabetes during this , my lovely company decided to send a box with information on returning my equipment or paying for it!! Yes that was how I found out I no longer had a job !! I had surgery on may 19th it was successful!! However right before my surgery, I had an MRI on my back because of immense pain. The results were multiple bulged discs and arthritis down my back... I am struggling with recovery from lung surgery and on top of that the other issues I am in need of a walker, help managing daily life, meals, personal care, etc. All with no job!! I have worked my whole life and feel very sad that a company would not be supportive of a good employee, needing time to recover from a rare tumor. Any financial aid would make a huge difference in my recovery, Thank You All
