FLCL would like to acknowledge our hardworking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants! We celebrate our forty-seven staff members with gift bags and lunch! You are the support system our residents depend on and we appreciate you!

CNA Week, which takes place during the second full week of June, is a week full of celebrations honoring the hard work of assistant nurses. This year, it is held from June 12 to 18. Certified Nursing Assistants began working under the Red Cross program during World War I and have served alongside U.S. Army nurses. Hundreds of young women were trained to care for wounded soldiers in reserve, field, base, and civilian hospitals.

While the specific dates and activities may vary from year to year, National Nursing Assistants Week continues to be an important annual tradition for recognizing the dedication and compassion of CNAs who provide essential care and support to patients in need.
