SIMPLE. Clean skincare.

What does that mean?

SIMPLE means as minimal ingredients as possible while still providing all the goodness- hydration, healing, and phenomenal texture and consistency!

Our most minimal balms and salves are only THREE ingredients! Others depending on plant blend has a few more.

Clean skincare means BWA products have ingredients that you can actually read and know what they are. There are NEVER any fillers, phthalates, preservatives, or binders!!

When I began to create all-natural skincare, I knew I could formulate products with less ingredients and still achieve great results, and I did just that!

Our skin doesn't need a lot to be vibrant, moisturized, and beautiful. It just needs a little Nature. 🌿

Canner is still going.. onto the onions I planted specifically for ONE reason:
Caramelized onions for burgers and dogs.

Do I have a recipe? Nope! ️😬🤣

These will cook down, then I'll add some brown sugar and balsamic vinegar and taste.. then if something needs to be added I'll do that then. These will go in the water bath canner.

Had to search for my snowboarding goggles 😭 Murph seriously needed a pair too 🤭

*Just for reference.. I filled our 12 inch cast iron skillet 4 times as this quantity had to be cooked in patches. 🤯 100 or so red onions.

Today is a processing and preserving kind of day 🤗

Chicken Bone Broth is in the canner! I was able to pour 11 quarts of this potent medicinal goodness. How is this medicinal?

Bone broth assists in healing the gut lining and provides the body with vital nutrients and minerals.

We use this to cook rice and quinoa as well as a soup base.

How to make:
I first cooked 4 frozen whole chickens (from Hine Farms) in my roaster, then picked all the meat to freeze for later.

Added the bones back into the roaster and filled with more water. To those, I added:
Turkey Tail mushrooms
White mushroom stems
Celery ends, carrots and peels, and onion peels
Zucchini ends
Garlic
Peppercorns, sea salt, and ground turmeric
Fresh parsley from the garden

This bone broth takes between 48-72 hours of cook time. Then processing is another few hours.

The result.. liquid gold! 🤣 IYKYK
