The range of emotions these little cuties took me through over 2025! 😆😍 Looking forward to a new year of AuBabies and their families - starting tomorrow. 🩷🩵

🍓🍑 How big is your baby this week? 🍋🥑

✨40 Weeks✨

The countdown is over, sort of - some babies hang out a little bit longer!
So -transparency- I haven't actually scanned anyone at the 40 week gestation at AuBaby; however, this juicy lil cutie's Mommy came to see me between 38-39 weeks and baby boy was measuring over 40 weeks 🤗. So that's as close as we could get and I wasn't mad at the cuteness he shared that day! 💙 Shown here snuggling with his placenta.

Now go have a baby 👣 - and send me pics!! 😍😍😍

✨39 Weeks✨

Definitely getting more challenging to see your little munchkin once we're beyond 36 weeks but sometimes we might get a glimpse! Many clients only come closer to delivery for that last peek of whatever we can see of their cutie, not necessarily 3D but if baby gives me a shot I'll take it. 📸

Merry Christmas from two of my little Candy Cane Cuties yesterday. 🎄These babies are in the Christmas spirit and using what's available to be festive! Free floating umbilical cord is a favorite for fetal entertainment, along with hands and feet of course.

✨38 Weeks✨
Assuming baby is still cooking, you have somewhere around 2 weeks left. In my experience most babies are making their appearance between now (typically closer to 39 weeks) and due date. Whether your plan is to wait it out and let baby make the call, scheduled induction or planned cesarean.. do what's best for your situation and remember to count the kicks until the grand entrance.
On ultrasound we can usually (not always 😆) still get a decent 2D profile but 3D imaging is much more challenging - although such a treat when we can grab a peek!. & I'm betting that mini watermelon doesn't feel so 'mini'.

✨37 Weeks✨

Look at this juicy cutie at 37 weeks! We're playing peek-a-boo a bit with placenta (left side of image, cloudy looking area) but those cheeks are the sweetest! Also shown on 2D is hair seen even better as we close in on due date. 🤗
Who else didn't realize how big swiss chard is? 🤣🤣
