It’s taken me a full week to even find the words to say this… but Audiology Always is officially 3 years old.
In some ways, it feels like it’s flown by. In others, it feels like we’ve built something that’s been part of this community for much longer.
And honestly, I’m really proud. And thankful.
Starting this business was a big risk for my husband and I. There were a lot of unknowns, and plenty of moments that felt uncomfortable. But today, I can confidently say… I’d do it all over again.
Today, Audiology Always stands as the last independently owned audiology practice in Auburn.
And that’s not something I take lightly.
Because independence in healthcare is becoming rare.
It means we answer to our patients, not a corporation. It means we aren’t limited to one manufacturer or pushed toward certain products. It means no sales quotas and no commission-driven recommendations, just honest guidance based on what’s actually best for you.
That’s the way I believe hearing care should be, and really healthcare as a whole should be.
This week, someone asked if we had a Fort Wayne location. And I was proud to say,
“No, Auburn is the only Audiology Always.”
Yes, it might be a bit of a drive north from Fort Wayne, south from Michigan, east from Noble County, or west from Ohio… but I promise, it’s worth it.
We’ve built a team of five that I truly cherish. We laugh a lot, we support each other, and we bring heart, kindness, and expertise into what we do every single day. I truly believe that’s what makes the difference when you walk through our doors.
They say 50% of small businesses don’t make it to five years.
We will.
And we’re just getting started.
