Most people don’t realize how heavy hospital beds actually are.

A standard hospital bed can weigh anywhere from 300 to 600+ pounds depending on the model and features.

Then add roughly 50 lbs for the mattress, and you’re quickly dealing with some serious weight.

These aren’t items you can just “move with a couple people.”

Proper equipment, planning, and experience are key to safely transporting and installing them—especially in tight spaces or facilities with multiple floors!
