Who knew that art could be so tasty? Residents and staff of Brookdale Eddy Pond tried their hand at cake painting. Each person was given a 4x4 slice of cake as a “canvas” and a palette of buttercream icing, which they tinted and blended just like paint. We “painted” sailboats and flowers, trees, and giraffes. Each slice became an edible work of art. Have you ever tried cake painting?

It was a great day for a picnic in the park! Brookdale residents and staff enjoyed the beautiful views at Green Hill Park, the jewel of Worcester. We went to the arboretum, the Vietnam Memorial, and the farm. Many residents got to reminisce about the time spent in the park when they were growing up. If you haven’t visited this park, you should add it to your to-do list!
