Here it goes…
What we offer has never been about giving or transmitting energy. As our understanding of the nervous system and somatic regulation has deepened, it’s become clear that the Reiki framework no longer reflects the integrity of this work.
Most practitioners are taught one of two frames:
1.) “I channel energy into you”
2.) “I move energy around”
We are operating in a third frame:
3.) “I witness, track, and clear so your system can do what it already knows how to do”
That third frame is subtle, and embodied. This is why so many clients tell me our work feels different, and often more impactful than Reiki alone. Your body is not being given something new. It is remembering itself, and it tends to happen quickly when the right conditions are created.
Moving forward, sessions will be listed as Nervous System & Biofield Clearing, rather than Reiki. Because simply put, it’s no longer a Reiki practice.
I am not channeling energy to you. I am not pulling anything in. I am removing interference and working with what already exists within your biofield. This is facilitated self-regulation. It is a somatic practice. The intention is not dependency, even though I truly love seeing you all. The goal is to teach, remind, and empower your system so eventually you no longer need facilitation from me.
Rather than channeling energy, I focus on clearing and regulating what’s already present so your system can return to balance.
You may notice some shifts in language, session descriptions, and verbiage across the website and offerings. These changes are about clarity and integrity. While we are part of the healing community, we do not identify with the ritualistic or “new age” practices that are currently being popularized. It feels important to draw clear lines around how we work and what we stand for.
As always, thank you for trusting me with your healing, your nervous system, and your process. These shifts reflect a deeper alignment with how the work has always moved through me.
