For those of you who have been missing Jen (we know… we miss her too!), this is what she’s been up to in her “retirement.”
Jen is out in the community doing what she’s always done best. She’s now helping bring dental care directly to children in need through school-based programs and supporting seniors in assisted living, making sure no one gets left behind when it comes to oral health.
We’re so proud of her and her continued passion for helping others. Once a hygienist, always a hygienist — just on an even bigger mission now. 🦷✨
Check out this article highlighting the incredible work she’s doing with Nevada County Public Health and their Virtual Dental Home program.

🦷 February is National Children’s Dental Health Month, and Nevada County Public Health is making smiles happen—right where kids learn!
Tooth decay is the #1 preventable chronic disease in children and the leading cause of missed school days. That’s why, for the first time, our Oral Health Program is bringing Virtual Dental Home clinics directly to schools.
What makes the Virtual Dental Home model special? It uses telehealth technology and a team-based approach to connect kids with dental care in a familiar setting—making access easier, faster, and more comfortable.
✅ 6 schools visited
✅ Nearly 60 children served
✅ Healthier smiles, fewer absences, brighter futures!
Let’s keep kids healthy and learning. 💙
