Giguere is Professional Registered Nurse with the State of Maine and has worked in the health care field for the past 25 years. Erik is certified by the American Heart Association as a Basic Life Support Instructor through NorthEast Mobile Health Services. Erik offers BLS classes twice a month at his office in Auburn, Maine. He also offers: First Aid course, Blood Bourne Pathogen training and HeartSaver CPR with AED for Adult, child and infants. He is a Certified Residential Medication Aid trainer through the State of Maine, able to offer the 40-hour certification, diabetes and insulin administration education, inhaled medication therapy and annual re-certification. After working toward his nursing career, he knew there was more in the world to offer for health and wellness to his patients and he embarked on expanding his offerings through spiritual avenues and bodywork modalities. This lead him to studying Usui Reiki at Oakledge Polarity with Patricia Keene, Reiki Master/Teacher and Natural Health Consulting at Stratford Career Institute. He became a Kinetic Chain Release Practitioner with the one and only Hugh Gilbert in 2014 and Kundalini Reiki in 2016; making him a duel Reiki Master/Teacher in Usui and Kundalini Reiki traditions. Erik is now the sole proprietor, owner and coordinator at Sage 'N Spice Health and Wellness Center, offering a variety of natural health education classes, body and energy work that includes: Workshops on nutrition and wellness, Reiki, Integrated Energy therapy, Kinetic Chain Release, Reflexology, Sound Healing therapy and is pleased to offer one on one Natural Health Consultations, to meet your individual health and wellness goals. Erik has experience in several areas of nursing including: Mental Health, Case Management, Care Management, Health Educator, Substance use disorder (detox and treatment), Pediatric Home Care, Cardio-Pulmonary Care, Supervision, Skilled Home HealthCare, Assisted Living, Skilled Long-Term Care and group home/ICF-IDD.
