In memory care, education is more than just information—it’s about strengthening the compassion, confidence, and skills that allow our team to provide the highest level of care to our residents each and every day. We are so grateful for a team that is committed to growing, learning, and serving with heart. 💜

This week, our dedicated medication technicians participated in a continuing education in-service led by our Executive Director. The session featured an engaging slideshow presentation along with a fun, interactive Jeopardy-style learning game that brought both knowledge and laughter to the room.

🌷We celebrated an early Easter celebration today with our residents, families, and friends. 💐🐣

Our talented culinary team prepared a delicious holiday meal featuring honey baked ham, roasted potatoes, and buttered dill carrots—every bite made with care and enjoyed together around the table.

The afternoon continued with laughter and creativity as residents spent time dyeing and painting Easter eggs, bringing out bright colors and even brighter smiles.

And while today was a wonderful time together, we are also looking forward to continuing the celebration this Sunday with a meaningful Easter holiday. We’ll be gathering once again around the table for a special meal, welcoming clergy members into our community, and enjoying a heartfelt worship sing-along hour for those who would like to attend. 🎶

🌸 Springtime Family Brunch at Sierra Ridge 🌸

This Sunday, we welcomed the beauty of the season with our monthly Family Brunch, celebrating all things spring! Our community was filled with warmth, laughter, and the joy of togetherness as residents and their loved ones gathered to enjoy a delicious spread. From golden French toast, savory sausage, and crispy potatoes to a delightful buffet of pastries, deviled eggs, and fresh fruit—there was something for everyone to savor.

Families joined us throughout the day, sharing special moments both indoors and out in our sunny courtyard. The celebration continued into the evening with live music, creating a cheerful and relaxing atmosphere for all to enjoy.

🌷Yesterday, we welcomed the beauty of spring with a lovely Garden Party in our sunny courtyard at Sierra Ridge Memory Care Community 🌸☀️

Our residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with live entertainment, delicious hors d’oeuvres, refreshing drinks, and the simple joy of being outdoors together. The music, laughter, and warm sunshine created such a peaceful and uplifting atmosphere for everyone.

We were also happy to have a few family members join us to share in these special moments.

🎶 🪉 Our wonderful harpist, Lisa filled the room with her gentle, soothing melodies today. As the music played, our residents enjoyed a peaceful and calming afternoon—one filled with warm smiles, quiet reflection, and beautiful moments of relaxation.

From the moment she arrived, our community was filled with smiles, laughter, and so much love. Residents enjoyed holding her, petting her soft fur, and sharing quiet, comforting moments with such a gentle companion.

Today was all about welcoming spring in the most beautiful way 🌸🌿

Our residents, along with some family and team members, spent the afternoon out in the courtyard planting flowers in preparation for our upcoming garden party. There’s something so special about getting our hands in the soil, smelling the fresh blossoms, and watching our space come to life with bright, vibrant colors.

We enjoyed music, learning about each plant and bright sunshine throughout the afternoon. It truly was an “all hands on deck” kind of day—our amazing care staff helped serve refreshments, fill bird feeders and hummingbird feeders, and made sure everyone felt included. We even came across little critters along the way … .. . 🐌

Together, we’re not just preparing for spring—we’re celebrating it 💐✨

Happy Sunday from our Memory Care family! 🌸☀️

Today was filled with simple joys and beautiful moments. We started our morning with a delicious coffee cake treat and warm conversations to match. ☕💛

Our residents then got creative with flower arranging, adding lovely touches of spring to our dining tables—each arrangement as unique and special as the hands that made them. 💐 We also had fun playing an “Eye Spy” matching game.

To top off the day, we were blessed with heartfelt worship songs from one of our wonderful volunteers, filling our community with music, smiles, and a sense of peace. 🎶✨ Not to mention it being National Goofing Off Day which of course, we certainly did a lot of! 🤪 We love having fun here! 😆

It was truly a joyful day spent together, and we’re so grateful for these meaningful moments that bring us closer as a community. 💖

🌷Last night, we had the pleasure of hosting a lovely Sip & Social at Sierra Ridge Memory Care as we warmly welcomed our new Executive Director, Brittany Hall 💜

It was an intimate and meaningful evening shared with our residents’ families, friends, and dedicated team members. Guests enjoyed a beautiful spread of hors d’oeuvres and fancy mocktails prepared by our incredible culinary team, while connecting and celebrating together.

We are so grateful to all of our department leaders who were in attendance, showing their support and helping make the evening so special. Moments like these remind us how strong and connected our Sierra Ridge family truly is.

🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day from our Memory Care family! 🍀

Yesterday was filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of green as our residents celebrated St. Patrick’s Day together. Our amazing care team and staff members joined in the fun, dressed in their festive green and ready to celebrate right alongside our wonderful residents.

We enjoyed a day of fun, easy activities followed by a festive lunch featuring corned beef and cabbage. The celebration continued with lively entertainment that had everyone smiling, clapping, and tapping their feet.

It was a joyful day spent making memories, sharing laughter, and celebrating together. We feel so lucky to be part of such a special community. 💚

🌷 Tis’ the season for Spring Cleanin’! 🦋

We are getting ready for more fun times ahead!!

We spent this week going through puzzles, games, and holiday supplies, folding linens, and giving our activity spaces a fresh start for the new season!

Our residents were such great helpers! We couldn’t do it without them! 🥰

Nothing better than teamwork, good conversation, and a little spring refresh together! 💛
