Second dose of Covid-19 vaccine. First one just gave me some soreness in arm (only if I moved it), and chills the night of the day after I got the vaccine. Chills lasted about 10 seconds. I hope to keep my patients safe and that I can continue giving uninterrupted care. We need widespread public immunity. Grateful for all the medical and government agencies involved in developing this vaccine. The goal is to stop complications and death from this deadly virus.

FLU VACCINES MORE IMPORTANT IN COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Flu season is rapidly approaching. In the United States, influenza cases usually begin increasing in October, and regional activity may wax and wane through the winter months. The arrival of influenza and its complications, hospitalizations, and mortality take on added importance in the setting of the COVID-19 pandemic. Differentiation between the two can be difficult, and typically requires additional testing. It is important to make a distinction between the two because the course of illness and options for treatment can be quite different. This is a virtual reality 360 degrees rendering of the clinical presentation of the COVID-19 disease in the lungs. It essentially destroys lung tissue causing what is called pulmonary hemorrhage. This presentation is rare, but we need to continue to avoid spreading the virus so no one gets at risk to get to this severity of the disease.
