So happy to see our team growing!
Welcome to our new incredible AMFT
Kaitlyn Weiman
"I approach therapy through a humanistic and person-centered lens, prioritizing what each client brings into the room. My goal is to facilitate growth, self-actualization, and deeper internal dialogue by creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported.
I enjoy helping clients question the status quo of their current approaches to life, exploring how their thoughts, behaviors, and patterns serve them, or hold them back. Together, we can navigate these insights to uncover new perspectives, healthier coping strategies, and a more authentic way of being.
I work with couples, families, teens, and adults. In my work with couples, I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman techniques to bring suppressed emotions to the surface, strengthen communication, and foster understanding and cohesion in relationships.
At the core of my approach is the belief that individuals can explore their true self-worth and values, leading wholehearted lives while deepening their connection with their inner selves. Above all, I see therapy as a collaborative journey where curiosity, honesty, and self-exploration lead to meaningful change. Outside of the therapy office, I find joy in road trips, baking, yoga, and everything the mountains have to offer.
My educational background:
Bachelors degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University
Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from William Jessup University."

To meet the individual needs of my clients, I use compassionate and evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, Trauma-Focused CBT. My counseling approach is holistic, meaning promoting the whole person’s wellness within the emotional, physical, mental, social, and spiritual dimensions. My ther**eutic services address issues that include depression, anxiety, substance use and addiction, shame, self-esteem, wellness, grief and loss, trauma, gender, and sexuality.

Mapala is fluent in more than five languages that include but not limited to French, Lingala, English…
In my off-hours, I like to read, write, watch documentaries, make videos. “Me time” and “family time” matter a lot to me.
Being there for my clients is my passion. Walking them through their healing journey and taking them to their healing destination is my goal. I believe in the power of a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients feel understood and supported."

From brave warriors to their siblings, parents, and caregivers - Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance is here to lift them upwith love and support.
Sadly, the number of new childhood cancer diagnoses is rising — but together, we can be their light, their strength, and their HOPE.

Our teams goal is to raise $1,500 by September 23rd to help them continue this mission of hope and healing.
If you’re able, I’d be so grateful if you’d consider donating.

Let’s Strike Out Kids' Cancers for Child Cancer Warriors and their incredible families!

September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance

Every 3 minutes, a family’s life is turned upside down when they hear the four devastating words, “Your child has cancer.” At Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance, we believe that every child deserves a fighting chance – and you can help make that a reality.
This month, we honor brave young warriors, remember our precious Angels, and stand with families fighting childhood cancer today. From fundraising events to volunteer opportunities, there’s a way for everyone to join this mission of hope.
Together, let’s Glow Gold and remind every family: you are not alone in this journey. This September, we shine a light of awareness, love, and unwavering support for every child and family facing childhood cancer.
