Companion Care provides seniors and disabled adults with the support they need to live safely and comfortably at home. Whether it’s offering companionship by engaging in friendly conversation or fun activities, running errands, meal preparation, light housekeeping, or medication reminders, our caregivers are here to help. Companion Caregivers can also accompany clients to appointments and social outings. This service not only helps reduce loneliness but also adds joy and ease to daily life!

Congratulations to our September 2025 Caregiver of the Month Qumeka Petty!
Since joining Access To Home Care Services in 2022, Qumeka has shown remarkable growth, dedication, and a true heart for her clients. This recognition is a reflection of the care, thoughtfulness, and consistency she brings to her work every single day. Since starting her current client’s case in March 2024, Qumeka has been the steady presence he can always count on. She has taken full ownership of his care—adjusting her schedule to make up missed time, coming in on weekends after his surgery, and even bringing him a charger while he was in the hospital. These thoughtful acts may seem small, but they speak volumes about the kind of person Qumeka is: dependable, compassionate, and genuinely caring. Her dedication has made a real difference in her client’s life.
It’s no surprise that her client talks about her to anyone who will listen. He sees her as a true blessing, and it’s easy to understand why. With 20 years of caregiving experience, Qumeka says what she loves most is simply helping people. In her free time, she enjoys cooking all sorts of dishes and spending quality moments with her kids. Her kindness, reliability, and professionalism not only bring comfort and trust to her clients but also make her a valued member of the Access team.

Access To Home Care Services can provide assistance with personal care and daily activities to the veteran, as well as offer respite care for family caregivers. This allows veterans to remain safe and independent while continuing to live in their own home

We are excited to recognize Sandra Howard as our August 2025 Caregiver of the Month!
Sandra began her caregiving journey in 1989 and joined Access in February 2024. In that time, she has already made a lasting impression with her positivity, compassion, and wonderful attitude. She says the most rewarding part of her work is seeing the smiles on her clients’ faces and knowing she can restore a sense of independence and hope. For Sandra, caregiving is deeply personal—she cared for her grandfather and has always felt called to bring love, joy, and support to the elderly, who she says give that love right back.
Her goal moving forward is simple yet powerful: to always share happiness and joy in someone’s life and be a positive influence. In her free time, Sandra enjoys reading, worshipping, going to church, and connecting with others. We are grateful for her uplifting spirit and the compassion she brings to every client she serves.

Justin has been a caregiver since 2014 and has built a strong reputation for his reliability, positive attitude, and the trust he builds with clients. He says the best part of his job is caring for his clients and spending time with them, which shines through in the joy and comfort he brings to their lives. His clients not only rely on him but genuinely enjoy the care and companionship he provides.
