Special thanks to our staff for putting together such a good time for everyone - shout out to Tamara Angotti-Marek, Sherry Sayre, Tammy Amidon, Michelle Thurston, and Katie from nursing! πŸ€πŸ§πŸ™πŸ» Couldn't have done this without you! πŸ’š

Our Administrator, Klare Gunnip, was recently presented with a very thoughtful donation for our residents by the United Way of Cayuga County!

These special care packages were generously donated by Wegmans and assembled by local high school students through the United Way of Cayuga County. They include lipstick, eye shadow, concealer, blemish lotions, nail polish, eyeliner, and so much more! What a kind and meaningful way for young people in our community to give back. πŸ’—

Even more special is the history behind this connection. In the early 1900s, when our organization was known as β€œThe Home of the Friendless,” it was actually one of the very first nonprofits supported by what would become the United Way of Cayuga County. Over a century later, their generosity continues to touch the lives of our residents β€” and we think that’s pretty amazing.

Thank you to the United Way of Cayuga County, Wegmans, and the students who helped assemble these care packages for bringing smiles and a little extra joy to our home today! ✨🏑

Thank you for all that you do β€” today and every day!
