About:
Dr. Tom Clary Jr. is a lifelong resident of Auburn and a third generation dental professional. Dr. Austin Clary started the practice after graduating from the University of Buffalo in 1925. In 1955, Dr Thomas A. Clary Sr. completed his studies at the University of Maryland and returned to practice in Auburn after serving 2 years in the army. The practice was located in Dr. Austin’s home at 70 South St. for over 50 years before relocating to the new office in the Karpinski building on Genesee St. Our practice has been dedicated to providing quality dental care to our patients for over 85 years. We utilize the latest technologies to ensure that our patients receive dental care of the highest caliber. We always welcome new patients and greatly appreciate when our current patients make the recommendation for us.
In May, 1984, Tom Jr. graduated from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine and began practicing with his father at the South St office. Dr. Tom Jr. graduated from St. Bonaventure University in 1979 with a B.B.A. in marketing. He competed in swimming all 4 years, held several school records and served as a captain his senior year. Tom has been involved with competitive swimming since college. He was a highly respected age group coach during his tenure with the Auburn YMCA Stingrays swim team and just recently retired after 23 seasons leading the Auburn High varsity girls program.
The practice moved to its current location in 2005 after renovating the former pediatric offices on the first floor of the Karpinski building. The new office is conveniently located in downtown Auburn, has ample off street parking and is handicap accessible.
