It’s time for the Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA) Planning Process, and your voice matters! 🗣️

🧠 What is BHSA?

BHSA stands for Behavioral Health Services Act, passed by voters in 2024 as Proposition 1. Starting July 1, 2026, BHSA will replace the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA). This new act focuses on community-driven planning, equity, and accountability in mental health and substance use services.

Halloween is creeping up tomorrow! If you're heading out to trick-or-treat, here are a few safety tips to keep in mind:

👻 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀:
- Stay aware of your surroundings
- Stick to well-lit areas and carry glow-sticks or a flashlight
- Go with a group or trusted adult
-Only visit homes with the porch light on
-Have an emergency game plan

🚗 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀:
- Slow down in residential areas and stay alert for little witches, wizards, and monsters on the move
- Avoid distractions, keep your eyes on the road
- Be extra cautious between 5:30 PM and 9:30 PM, the prime trick-or-treating hours!

🏡 𝗔𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲:
- Keep pathways clear and visible
- Light your porch to safely welcome spooky visitors

🧥 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗲𝘀:
- Add reflective tape or bright colors for visibility
- Keep your vision clear and choose masks that don't block your monster spotting skills
- Use flame-resistant fabrics and soft props
