Monday, September 8th is 988 Day!
988 is the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline — connecting people with trained counselors during moments of emotional distress, suicidal thoughts, or mental health/substance use crises.
The purpose of 988 Day is to:
✅ Raise awareness of the 988 Lifeline
✅ Reduce stigma around reaching out for help
✅ Emphasize the importance of mental health & su***de prevention
✅ Remind everyone that support is 24/7, free, and confidential
988 is more than just a number — it’s a lifeline.
If you or someone you love is struggling, call or text 988 or chat with someone at 988lifeline.org for confidential mental health support.
