On August 6, 1945, the US dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, and 3 days later, on Nagasaki. On Tuesday, August 6, there will be a ceremony at City Center commemorating those who died or were injured by this blast. There will be a special service in the morning after zazen. After service ends, the sangha will be invited to go up to the altar and offer flower petals.
