The ability to Processing our Senses & trusting our brains to decide the environment we are in is ok is something we all take for granted.

Some of our children lack the ability to communicate what is going on in their body and the only way they are able to let us know that their brain is not processing their environment well is through behavior. Some of these kids get labeled as "difficult" or "bad" (hurts to use that word). When I’m all reality your little is reacting to things that are overwhelming them so much it can cause them to burst out in expression of how overloaded they are. Rather than punish children we have to all work together to help recognize the sensory overload and help them to learn to process those things in a healthy way. Here at Artistic TheraPlay we are here to support you and your child with these issues so that these littles can thrive and feel safe in all environments they encounter.
