We love a good reason to celebrate! From stars and stripes bunco games and delicious grilled eats to porch popsicle parties and patriotic crafts, our 40+ communities across 5 states had a blast at America’s 249th birthday party.

Not only are special events fun for the residents (and staff!), but they also serve a purpose! Games and crafts help sharpen cognitive function and dexterity. The food gatherings help meet physical needs and foster close-knit community bonds via socialization. And July 4 gives us an extra opportunity to honor and celebrate the many brave and selfless veterans that we so proudly serve.

Join us in wishing our Independent Living community at Grace Manor at Hunters Creek a very Happy Second Birthday!

While some may refer to the “twos” as terrible, we’re here to let you know it’s not terrible at all! In fact, it’s so TERRIFIC that we threw a carnival-themed party with some of our trusted partners to celebrate!

This premier senior living destination holds a special place in the Mainstay Senior Living family, as we built it from the ground up quite literally. This community started as a street of senior living retirement villas and grew to include a new-construction Assisted Living building in 2019 and a new-construction Independent Living building added a couple of years ago to serve even more residents.

The feeling of pride and accomplishment that comes with watching this community grow and fill with life and vibrancy is tough to articulate with words. For now… we’ll just stick with Happy Birthday, Grace Manor at Hunters Creek. Here’s to many, many more!

We challenged our Activity Directors to take our residents on virtual trips around the world, and we can’t get enough of the smiles that came as a result! From painting in France to dining in China and even putting their toes in the sand in Bora Bora, it’s safe to say June was full of travel, enrichment and, memories.

Developing a vibrant activity program is an absolute necessity in Senior Living. Not only does it provide structure, but it also helps reduce cognitive decline, promote physical health, and enhance emotional connections.

Kudos to our incredible activity teams for keeping our communities engaged and full of life!
