We made room for some new neighbors at Quillen Manor! Our phase 4 expansion included adding 18 newly constructed assisted living suites to be able to serve even MORE amazing residents and families in the Upstate area.

While hydration is important for all of us, it becomes even more crucial during the senior years of life.

We challenged our communities to put a higher focus on hydration. Not only did our residents increase their water intake, but they also loved the added excitement of visiting the hydration stations to taste the fun flavors and specialty drinks created by our Activity Directors and Dietary Managers.

We love a good reason to celebrate! From stars and stripes bunco games and delicious grilled eats to porch popsicle parties and patriotic crafts, our 40+ communities across 5 states had a blast at America’s 249th birthday party.

Not only are special events fun for the residents (and staff!), but they also serve a purpose! Games and crafts help sharpen cognitive function and dexterity. The food gatherings help meet physical needs and foster close-knit community bonds via socialization. And July 4 gives us an extra opportunity to honor and celebrate the many brave and selfless veterans that we so proudly serve.
