Today we wore blue in honor of World Autism Awareness Day 💙

We also showed our love and support for our coworker Shelby and her daughter, who has autism. It means so much to stand together, spread awareness, and celebrate the strength and uniqueness of every individual.

Tuesday we were lucky once again to be spoiled by the Lion’s Club for our annual Pancake Supper! 🥞 Our residents look forward to this special event every year and truly enjoy every moment of it.

You may spy one of our own that is part of the Lion's Club and helped out the crew! 💛

Thank you again to the Lion’s Club for your kindness and for making this tradition so memorable for everyone!

🐟This past Friday, our residents enjoyed a delicious fish supper from St. Patrick Church’s fish fry. This wonderful meal was generously donated by Roger & Marge Griffith and Jon & Alice Lauridsen , and it truly made the resident's night!🐟

We are so grateful for their kindness and continued support—our residents were all smiles! Thank you again for letting them enjoy this special treat! 🥰

We were so busy making sure everyone received their fresh, hot meal that we didn’t get any pictures, but we can promise it was enjoyed by all! 😃

Sorry for the delay in sharing an update on our Hearts Across America Valentine’s Card Project! We were absolutely thrilled to receive over 100 cards, representing all but 5 states—what an incredible response.

We can’t thank everyone enough for taking the time to send a card to our residents. It truly meant so much to them. We had a wonderful time reading each message and marking off the states as they came in—it was such a fun and meaningful experience for everyone involved.

Thank you again for spreading so much love and kindness!❤️

Today at Friendship Home we celebrated Employee Appreciation Day. Thanks to Marchelle, and all the other caring staff that assisted, there were plenty of goodies to go around. I unfortunately could not grab pictures, so I thank Stefanie for sending some pics this morning after it was set up. I also want to add that without our great staff we could not function. So, to Adminastration, Social Services, Nursing, Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance, Activities, and Dietary, I want to let you know you matter and the jobs you do for the Friendship Home allows us to give the care possible. So, as I finish my afternoon I hope you all take a minute to be proud of the job you do and keep finding passion every day to do the best job possible, not just for you, but for our Wonderful residents.🤪😃🤩🥳

🏈We may not be on the field, but we sure tackled the fun this afternoon! Our residents got into the Super Bowl spirit with a festive happy hour and plenty of game-day snacks. We also put our sports knowledge to the test with a round of Super Bowl Trivia!

Rain, sleet, or snow... our mail carriers are always on the go! 🏃‍♂️📦 To show our appreciation, the residents and Activity Department left a little surprise for them today: a signed card and some snacks for the road. We appreciate you! 📮
