Meet Dr. Shannon!

Dr. Timothy Shannon is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, shoulder and knee arthroscopy, and joint replacement. He treats everything from hip, knee, and shoulder replacements to hand and foot conditions and fractures—with a strong belief that informed patients are partners in their care.

A former scholarship track and cross-country runner, Dr. Shannon earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University and completed his orthopedic training at Northwestern University. He also proudly served as a Major in the U.S. Air Force, where he taught future medical professionals and provided charitable care.

Dr. Shannon is a past President of the South Carolina Orthopedic Association, an active advocate for patients and physicians, and a dedicated community partner supporting local high school athletics. He has also participated in medical mission trips to Haiti.

Outside the clinic, he enjoys golf, skiing, hiking, cooking, music, and spending time with his wife of 41 years and their family.

We’re very lucky to have him! 👏
