Meet Dr. Rectenwald!

Dr. Rectenwald completed his undergraduate studies at Georgia Tech, earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1997, and pursued residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of South Carolina/Palmetto Richland. He further specialized through a fellowship in Hand Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Dr. Rectenwald specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery, providing comprehensive care for patients with hand, wrist, and forearm conditions—ranging from acute injuries to chronic disorders. He evaluates each patient individually and offers both surgical and non-surgical treatment options tailored to restore optimal function.

With nearly three decades of experience, Dr. Rectenwald is highly regarded by peers and patients alike. His practice has earned accolades such as “Patient Top Choice” and consistently receives outstanding ratings for professionalism and clarity in patient communication.
