I am now the Vice President of the Grovetown Garden Club! My main job is to find speakers for our monthly meetings, on the 2nd Thursday of each month. We are a garden club that focuses on native plants and sustainable gardening.🌿

Are you a person who would like to give a talk about anything gardening-related? Do you know of someone who would be great to give a talk? Please let me know!

We are mostly looking for speakers willing to travel to Grovetown, Georgia but we are also open to Zoom talks. Thank you! ☺️

Checking in after Helene: we still don't have power and power company told us we probably won't have power until next Friday (October 11th). We also still do not have water to the house but hopefully that will be restored in a few days 🤞 We have no way of getting our cars out, as our driveway is blocked by about 10 fallen trees.

Our phones keep going in and out of SOS/signal so it has been difficult to keep in contact. Yesterday, our road was finally cleared of all the trees so people can at least drive to the end of our driveway. We can walk to the grocery store that is a mile up the road.

Y'all, its been a wild ride. We are making it and surviving but this truly has been one of the most heart breaking things we have been through. But our neighbors and friends have been so kind and sharing and I am forever grateful 💗💗💗
