PrimaryPlus-Ripley takes the spotlight for the GREAT CARE SPEAKS FOR ITSELF campaign. This year marks 5 YEARS for our RIPLEY, OH office...a GREAT MILESTONE...even though they are small, they are mighty and make BIG IMPACTS on the HEALTH of their community. PrimaryPlus-Ripley is a school-based health center located on the back side of RULH Elementary School. Our health center is OPEN TO THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY, not just children, we are here for the entire family including aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas, neighbors and everyone in between...ALL AGES WELCOME. Carissa Kirk, APRN and team offer a complete range of primary care services.
Carissa received her nursing degree for Maysville Community and Technical College in 2014. She then went on to obtain her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. Continuing education is very important to Carissa, she states “I feel like that’s the best part of being in the medical field, no matter how much you know, there is always more to learn. I don’t believe education ever ends in this field.”
Carissa is a lifelong resident of Ripley, OH. She lives there with her husband and 2 children. She traveling, kayaking, camping (glamping actually), attending sporting events, and doing all the things her kids love to do
Carissa's Approach to Healthcare:
Carissa believes in a holistic approach to healthcare. She feels it is important to consider the “whole” person in the prevention and disease process. She aims to view the patient/provider relationship as a partnership, while taking into consideration that each person experiences healthcare differently.
