At MCG our residency is like a family. We celebrate together, and we share in each others sorrows. Many residents, past and present, knew and adored Dr. Postma's dog. So on his birthday, here are a few words from Dr. Postma in memory of Samson:

"God puts people and events in our lives for various purposes but sometimes He sends a Dog…
Sixteen years and 7 months ago Samson came into our lives as a tiny rescue puppy. His Corgi butt and short legs coupled with his Beagle bark and floppy ears made him irresistible to us and to so very many others. Sam was so gentle, the smartest and most agreeable dog either of us had ever known.
Sam loved car rides and his presence at Kims art shows always brought in new customers to pet him and often to buy some shells. Sam was 'Strong & Mighty' till the end.
Samsons memory will forever be a blessing and we are thankful for having him in our lives for so many great years."
