At MMHP we love the work we do. đź’“ This is from one of our MMHP Providers- "Covering this gap in care in this community has saved lives. I have had numerous patients tell me they may not be alive without this clinic. Working for MMHP refreshes my soul and reminds me why I went into medicine, to serve and to heal."

This was reported recently by one of our staff. "Over the past couple of months we have been working with patient xx and xx and their doctor suggested them to have surgery. Yesterday I had a final call with their surgical coordinator and this morning I picked up more written details from them. From what I understand, these two workers won't have the privilege of a payment plan after surgery. They will have to complete full payment prior the procedure."

These are the situations we find ourselves in often. People need health services but when they find out their bill is over $6000 a piece, it is heart breaking. We are working to help them navigate this difficult situation. Donations to MMHP make this process easier. If you would like to help workers like these, please donate here: https://www.mainemobile.org/Support%20Our%20Work.html
