Atlee Gleaton Eye Care is located in Augusta, ME and provides eye care to the beautiful central region of the state. Our practice is currently comprised of two full time ophthalmologists and two full time optometrists that provide a wide range of services to these communities. The practice is fully staffed with well trained technicians, a wonderful front desk staff and an extensive optical shop with highly trained opticians. We have a wide range of soft, hard and specialty contact lens fitting sets to meet all patient needs. Our office has top of the line testing with OCT, visual field, fundus photography, corneal topography and fluorescein angiography. We also offer in house treatments for various ocular diseases such as intravitreal injections for diabetic retinal edema or wet macular degeneration, retinal laser treatment, glaucoma laser treatment, lid lesion removal, blepharoplasty, anatomical lid repair and Botox, just to name a few. Our Ophthalmologists perform cataract and minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries at our local hospital. Our optometrists and ophthalmologists work together to provide the best care possible for our patients, often co-managing complex cases and surgical care. We here at Atlee Gleaton strive to provide 5-star service to our patients and their families. This has been our guiding principle since 1971 and we look forward to seeing you walk through our doors everyday.
