A historic day in Taliaferro County — our Mobile Health Unit hit the road!

Congratulations to Zekeiyah Stewart, our very first mobile clinic patient!
Thanks to Kenya Smith, CNM, for leading the charge—and to all our incredible support staff who made this flagship launch possible. WE ARE DISTRICT 6!

From vaccines and screenings to women’s health and WIC sign-ups, today showed what’s possible when we bring care directly to the community.

🚨 Health Alert: Measles Confirmed in Georgia 🚨

The Georgia Department of Public Health has confirmed a measles case in a Fulton County resident.

👉 Why this matters for our area:

Measles spreads quickly and doesn’t stop at county lines—travel, schools, and events connect all of us across Georgia.

Even a single case can put babies, children, and people with weakened immune systems at risk.

Vaccination is our best defense: the MMR vaccine is safe and up to 98% effective.

✅ What you can do locally:

Make sure your family’s vaccines are up to date.

Watch for symptoms (fever, cough, runny nose, watery eyes, and rash).

Call your healthcare provider before visiting if you think you’ve been exposed.

📍 Protecting our community means acting early and staying prepared—your choices keep our community safe.
