Anesthesiology at MCG

Anesthesiology at MCG Training future physician anesthesiologists in our residency and fellowship programs.

Offices are on the 2nd floor of the hospital (BI-2144), adult preop is BI-2403, Pain Clinic is on the 1st floor, BA-1332, and children's preop is in CHOG. In the teaching hospital tradition, our physician anesthesiologists are clinicians, educators, and researchers. We offer a residency program as well as pain medicine, pediatric anesthesia, critical care and NST fellowships.

Each year, the Anesthesiology Interest Group hosts an “Introduction to Anesthesiology” session for first-year medical students, giving them an early glimpse into the specialty. This year, we held the session in our department, allowing students to experience the clinical environment firsthand.
