🎉Happy Dr. Seuss Day from St. John Towers!

Today we celebrated the wonderful world of Dr. Seuss with the amazing students from Immaculate Conception Catholic School!
Together we enjoyed tasty treats, read a classic Dr. Seuss story, and even sang Happy Birthday in honor of the beloved author himself.

Dr. Seuss Day, celebrated every year on March 2nd, honors the birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel—a writer who inspired generations with his imagination, creativity, and unforgettable rhymes.

Thank you to Immaculate Conception Catholic School for bringing so much joy and energy to our celebration. What a Seuss-tastic day! 🎂📚✨

Spring is just around the corner, and we’re excited to welcome another month full of fun and engaging activities!

This month, we’ve expanded our exercise classes to five days a week, giving residents even more opportunities to stay active and energized.

We’re also welcoming new visiting vendors, offering residents a chance to shop without leaving home.

To top it all off, we’ll be proudly participating in the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade!

We can’t wait to celebrate the season with our friends and neighbors and make more wonderful memories together.

Our residents kicked off the day with fresh‑off‑the‑griddle pancakes from our festive Pancake Bar — and these smiles say it all! 🥞😄

Fat Tuesday (or Mardi Gras) is all about enjoying good food and good company before the Lenten season… and we definitely did both today! 💜💛💚

Our residents don’t just attend the fun—they help create it!

Last night, Kurt, our Valentine King, hosted and DJ’d a Valentine’s Dance, and residents enjoyed refreshments and dancing all evening.

We love seeing our community share their talents and create special moments together. 💕 🎶💃🕺

This week SJT held a church service honoring Black History. Thank you to our chaplain, Debra, for organizing such a meaningful service. Special thanks to The Happy Ukes for their beautiful music, and to Elder Mohandas Martin, Associate Pastor of Christian City of Praise, for his powerful sermon from Ephesians 6. We are grateful for everyone who shared their gifts and helped make this service so impactful. 🤎

❤️ To celebrate this season of love, our residents and staff came together for a festive lunch filled with joy, community and wonderful music from the Grovetown High School Jazz Band. Students from Immaculate Conception Catholic School brought the sweetest Valentines for everyone. As always, our Life Enrichment Team hosted an exceptional banquet, full of heart.

👑We also crowned this year’s Valentine King and Queen, Kurt and Rose! This special event is one we look forward to each year.

We are grateful for the opportunity to gather as neighbors and colleagues, celebrating the love, friendship, and appreciation we share. And of course, we had a great time dressing up for the occasion!

This week, students from Heritage Academy joined our Independent Living and Personal Care residents for exercise class, bringing wonderful energy and plenty of smiles. Afterward, students and residents enjoyed lunch together.

It’s always a special treat to have these young folks visit. Conversations across generations are truly meaningful, and we’re grateful for our continued partnership with Heritage!

Today we’re spotlighting Hunter Holley, our Marketing Manager here at St. John Towers!

Hunter is passionate about making SJT a meaningful and enjoyable place for residents, families, and future members of our community. You’ll see him giving tours, signing leases, creating advertisements, and staying active at events around Augusta.

Outside of work, Hunter enjoys the outdoors, making memories with family, and spending time with his wife, Carley, and their three dogs.
