We are Augusta's first and only donation-based yoga studio, with diverse offerings ranging from Hot Power classes to relaxing Yin Yoga and Aerial Yoga. We also offer several population-specific classes that directly support the work our nonprofit Project Create Space does in the community, allowing us to bring no-cost, specialized yoga programs to underserved communities all around the CSRA. All of our classes are taught from a body-positive, trauma-informed perspective and we strongly adhere to a no-touch philosophy. We work hard to make our classes as physically and financially accessible as possible.

✨From us to you:✨ While it might seem unconventional to say that yoga is transformative, it’s something we fiercely believe. The dominant culture is optimized to separate you from your body, the place we believe is the most primal and important house of truth. Above all else, ✨this✨ is our primary mission: to connect you back to your most safe space, to your power, to the warmth and reality of your own human body. We deeply believe that intentional somatic movement, stillness and rest, and the open arms of a non-judgmental community will lovingly guide you back home. Your body belongs to you. Your body is the seat of transformation and revolution. And we believe you have a right to experience all of it. And always and only on your terms. Your story matters. You are welcome here.

Since opening its doors in 2014, Space has blazed a trail for the wellness community in Augusta. Space grew from humble beginnings in a 450 square foot building with just 13 members, but has managed to touch the lives of tens of thousands in the CSRA, encouraging change at the personal and collective levels in ways that Augusta has never seen before. Through collaborations with organizations like the Richmond County Board of Education, the VA Hospital, and the Georgia Department of Corrections, Space instructors have provided places of peace, comfort, and release both inside and outside the studio walls. Your monthly support as a member of the Space community is what allows this work to continue, and what keeps this mission moving forward!
