Dear Candace

Why is it that the Higher Self can heal us but only after a Quantum Healing? Why doesn’t the Higher Self heal us when we need it?

Dear Leeann,

Thank you for your questions. I am so glad that you asked them, because many people ask me the same things.

There are a lot of things to address in these two seemingly simple questions. Let’s start by defining some terms here. Who is the Higher Self? Who are “we?” What does healing even mean?

We can start by listing other terms and names used for the Higher Self. Dolores Cannon called this portion of our selves the “Subconscious,” or the SC for short. Other terms generally accepted to mean the same part of ourselves are Superconscious, Divine Aspect, Inner Knowing or Soul Self. There are many more terms used but it refers to a part of our selves that is not purely our ego self, our temporal self or our unique and specific day-to-day conscious mind or personality self. (Dolores Cannon conceded that her term “subconscious” was not the same generally used by psychologists, and also said, that that energy didn’t care what we called that part of ourselves in any case!)

Only a few weeks to go!

Several times a year, I like to host an in-person Immersion class for BQH practitioners in or near Wichita, Kansas.

These are small intimate gatherings typically consisting of 10 practitioners. Each Immersion experience is unique! Focus and topics differ for each new gathering. Dolores made an appointment, an article by Candace Craw-Goldman

Last night I spent the first portion of my dreamtime traveling. I was retracing some of my steps as I had inadvertently left my favorite brown tapestry scarf behind and I was not sure where, but I was determined to find it before continuing on my journey.

I had a bystander comment that “it was just a scarf…” and “is it really that important to interrupt the scheduled itinerary?”

Yes. Yes it was that important. “And – isn’t this MY trip?” Why would he care?

As I was standing at the welcome desk at the hotel where I had stayed the night before, waiting for the courtesy staff to assist me to let me back into my room, Dolores walked up.

Instantly my dream turned lucid.

I smiled at Dolores and said “Hi!” She did not return my greeting but simply said, “Let’s make an appointment for a session.”

Huh. What to make of that? Who needs to make an appointment for whom?’ Who is the practitioner? Who is the “client” Why was Dolores involved? Another Dream session?

Are there verified stories of past lives being real or are they more symbolic or both?

It's both. And. Dolores used to research them to death until she could try to find them out. Are they real? And and she was remarkably successful. And then she realized she was just spending a whole lot of time, and for what? Didn't matter to anybody, really. She wasn't trying to prove this to anybody. So, yes, it can be real. Yes, it can be metaphor.

“Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God,” she said over and over and over again. “Listen. Listen to me breathe.”

She was sucking air in and out of her lungs at such a rate I really thought she might hyperventilate, but she didn't. She just kept breathing deeply, with no rasp, and jumping up and down.

She had so much energy.

At one point, she stopped and practically shouted, “You know my knees don't hurt!”

“Your knees?” I asked. “You never said a thing about your knees.”

And Lisa said, “Well, it's because in the scheme of things, my knee pain really didn't seem to matter. I have — well, I had — arthritis in my knees.”

And she started jumping up and down again, doing deep knee bends, the old fashioned kind where people held out their arms in front of them, and I just was giggling along with her.

A discussion on the Quantum Healing community forum: Has anyone else ever had extended déjà vu like this?

This morning from about 7am to noon, I experienced what felt like dozens of déjà vu moments back-to-back, almost nonstop.

At first it was interesting—familiar, like usual déjà vu—but as it continued, it became really intense. By the end of it, I actually started feeling nauseated and disoriented, which is something I’ve never experienced with it before.

It wasn’t big dramatic events either—just small everyday things:
• Knowing what someone was about to say
• Predicting small interactions before they happened
• Knowing what the next email or song would be
• Anticipating cars, conversations, and tiny sequences of events

It felt like I was moving through a script I already “remembered,” moment by moment.

The closest way I can describe it is this:
It felt like I had a very vivid dream overnight, and then during the morning I was watching it unfold in real time, as if I was remembering each moment just before it happened.

I had no sense of what was next… until it happened—and then I knew.

The intensity started to fade after I ate lunch, and things gradually returned to normal.

Honestly, it was fascinating, but also pretty uncomfortable.

Has anyone else ever had something like this happen over an extended period of time?

A session story: Berenstein Bears

I had a session last week with a client who was finding it hard to let his conscious mind go. He was not a meditator, did not remember his dreams. It was a long session, filled with deepening suggestions.

I used many tried and true methods. When he let go, he saw glimpses of valuable information, but his conscious mind fought and fought..

He was determined to keep going though. I could tell. So was I. So we did.

At one point I had him looking in a book for answers to his questions. Still fighting the process he opened the book and started laughing loudly. He resisted telling me what he saw. I assured him whatever he saw, he was supposed to see, his mind gave it to him to see and there would be information in it.

He answered me almost as a challenge, not believing. He said. "I see the Berenstein Bears" I know he thought I would then laugh too I think and dismiss it. I did not.

I said, "Go ahead, tell me more. What are they doing? What is happening?"

He figured he had already been "silly" enough to admit what he saw so the details would not matter. He said that "there were six bears, all on top of each other, all riding a single tricycle" I asked more questions.

The bears were smiling, stable, having fun.

The question he had asked, when we asked to see the answer in the book, had to do with is spiritual learning. In his life he primarily only spoke with one other friend, long distance. His question was how should he best continue to explore spirituality?

His face suddenly softened and his voice changed considerably. He got it. He started with the revelation of needing to meet in a small group of others like him. That they would "build" upon each other's discoveries. That they could start slowly (tricycle) and move forward in the same direction. Their friendship, steady and strong would provide forward momentum. They would attempt to view the world more like children, and have fun. They were positive and happy.

Dolores says the SC will give the client the information in a way the client can understand it, if the client will just allow it.
